Entry Deadline: Wednesday, 19th.  February  2013  at 8 pm. Entry Fee: Singles $20. Doubles $10. Per player. All players must play their age group in singles. Players are not permitted to play more than 3 events (including singles). All players must be members of the BLTA* *Minimum of 4 entrants for a divisional draw. BLTA  SANCTIONED  RULES APPLY.

Once again,  Godfrey ( Gully )  Bowe is indebted to Freeport Oil Company Limited (FOCOL) for their continued commitment to the development of junior tennis in The Bahamas. FOCOL maintains their dedication to the empowerment of our young people through their sponsorship of this annual event.Though severe thunderstorms threatened the start of the FOCOL Junior Tennis Tournament,  junior players from Grand Bahama, Eleuthera and Nassau were given the opportunity to vie for the championships.  Quite a number of young players fought rigorously to demonstrate their tennis prowess and emerge victorious.Tournament director, Godfrey “Gully” Bowe noted that this Tournament saw many new budding juniors from Nassau and Eleuthera. He expressed concern that numbers of juniors from Grand Bahama is on the decline and encouraged parents to seek to involve their children in playing the game of tennis. “It is a wonderful game that motivates and inspires children affecting all aspects of their life.” Stated, Mr. Bowe
